| Minimum Age | Must be 10+ years of age on race day to compete. All participants between the age of 10 - 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the event and the accompanying adult takes full responsibility for the safety of the entrant 12 years or under. Participants over the age of 12 can complete the event without an adult accompanying them |
| Cut-off Time |
Due to course management and strict conditions to reopen the Auckland Harbour Bridge, there is a cut-off point at the Onewa Road Southbound on-ramp (4km) at 9:40am. Participants who arrive after the cut-off time will be transported across the bridge to Beaumont Street to continue the event |
| Timing Results | Timing results will be provided by age group category. The 11km Traverse age group categories are as follows for men and women; 10-14 years, 15-19 years, 20-24 years, 25-29 years, 30-34 years, 35-39 years, 40-44 years, 45-49 years, 50-54 years, 55-59 years, 60-64 years, 65-69 years, 70-74 years, 75-79 years, 80+ years |
| Prizes | All 11km Traverse finishers will receive a finisher medal. Prizes are offered for the top 3 male and female overall runners. Read more information on prizes here |
| Walkers | Walkers are welcome to enter the 11km Traverse and will be issued a specific walkers race bib. The walking category is for participants who intend to walk the entire course and compete against other ‘walkers’. If you intend to run even one step on the course please register as a ‘runner’. Please ensure walkers start at the back behind the runners and keep to the left at all times |
| Race Rules |
After careful consideration and in consultation with local authorities, due to Health and Safety and logistical concerns on the course, all forms of wheeled conveyance including but not limited to cycles, roller blades, prams/buggies, skate-boards etc are not permitted to enter or participate in the event. Accompanying animals are not allowed on the course |

Course Summary
The 11km Traverse course runs from Smales Farm Bus Stations on Auckland's North Shore, along the Busway southbound to the Auckland Harbour Bridge. After crossing the Bridge, the course takes in Westhaven Marina and Viaduct Harbour before turning onto Fanshawe Street for a finish at Victoria Park. The course is best described as "rolling".

Please note - the busway and motorway section is only available to runners on race day. It is illegal to be on these sections of the course at any other time.
