ASB Auckland Marathon is pleased to become the only marathon event in New Zealand to be awarded a World Athletics (WA) Road Race Label for 2021.
Each year, World Athletics awards road race labels to marathons whose organisers have met strict criteria for excellence in planning and delivery. The ASB Auckland Marathon meets a list of WA’s requirements which include race organisation, accurate course measurement, timing and results and a quality field of elite runners.
