Certificates
If you wish to receive a printed A4 card certificate by mail, this can be purchased with your entry for an additional $9.00 fee or at a later date from your MyEvents account. The certificate will be posted to the address given on your registration within 4 weeks of the event in a standard envelope.

Medal Engraving Tabs
Commemorate your achievement and customise your medal by having your Name and Official Time engraved. Your name and time will be engraved onto a custom tag which will then be posted to you 3 weeks post event. All you have to do is stick your tag into the allocated space on the back of your medal.
This can be purchased with your entry for an additional $20.00 fee or at a later date from your MyEvents account.
Finish Area
The finish area will offer the full post-race experience; where you can relax, soak up the atmosphere, appreciate a well-earned massage, refuel, and enjoy celebrating your achievement with friends and family. Make a day of it with plenty of delicious food stalls, and entertainment; whilst cheering on other finishers.
A full list of food vendors, as well as the 2023 event village map, will be available here 1 month out from the event.
Prize Giving
Prize giving for the top 3 male and female in the Barfoot & Thompson Marathon and Garmin Half Marathon will be held at the finish line immediately they have finished the race.
PRIZE MONEY
Prize money will be awarded based on the participant's gun time. Prize Money is equal for men and women.

In addition to the above, $1,000 is awarded to any male or female who breaks the record on the current course.
* All prizes are in NZ dollars and those prizes above $500 are subject to 20% resident withholding tax.
PRIZES
Prizes are offered for the first 3 male and female runners in each age group category in the Barfoot & Thompson Marathon, Garmin Half Marathon and Barfoot & Thompson Kids Marathon - placings are based on net time. For the One NZ 11km Traverse and 5km, prizes will be awarded to the overall first 3 male and female runners - placings are based on gun time. All prizes MUST be collected from the Information Tent from 11:00am. No prizes will be posted out following the event.
Massage Service
Sports Lab is the official sports clinic for the Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon. Offering Physio, Podiatry, Massage, Nutrition and Physiology services that are specifically tailored towards runners and walkers, they will help to get you to the start line injury free.
Because the Sports Lab team are specialists they work with runners and walkers all day every day. No matter whether you have an injury that you can’t shake or simply would like to get a check up to make sure you’re putting your best foot forward, they can line you up with one of the team who will be able to go through any of your concerns.
