Three Ways to Train
We've got you covered when it comes to training options. With three easy ways to get moving, there is no excuse not to be at your best when race day arrives!
Rolling solo - If you prefer to go quietly about your training and do your thing on your own, download a FREE 12-week GetRunning training plan below. Or, you could convince your mates to enter and follow the plan together! Plans are suitable for beginners and start on Monday 6 August.
Mix it up - You need some excitement in your plan and group sessions to look forward to. Join our four Saturday morning ASICS Move Club sessions, which will be ASB Auckland Marathon specific. Register below:

Full Support - The Auckland YMCA Marathon Club have been getting runners ready for ASB Auckland Marathon since ages ago. Join the club and run with the group every single Sunday leading up to race day to slowly and consistently build your endurance.
Once you've decided which option is best for you, take 5mins to get your entry in, as some distances have sold out in the past and they are flying out the door this year! Committing now will really boost your motivation to train too!
