Are you looking to enter a team into the Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon presented by ASICS and want it to be as seamless as possible?

We have created exclusive team packages for 2024 that will give you exclusive access to benefits that will help you manage your team, whilst not increasing your workload!

Whether you're a business, school, sports club, community organisation, or a group of friends wanting the full experience, there's a team package that is perfect for you.

Gold Package

Rally the troops for a premium team day experience with the Gold Teams Package.

  • Online Pay-Later Functionality - pay for your teams individual entries in one payment - either via credit card, or request an invoice. Easy! 
  • Couriered Race Bibs - have your teams' race bibs posted to one location a week out from the event.  
  • Your Team Name will be printed on all team members race bibs so everyone will know who you're reppin'! 
  • Post-Race Results - Stir up some competition when the Team Manager receives each of your team members official race results post-race. 
  • Digital Marketing Assets - let everyone know your team is participating in Auckland Marathon with easy downloadable assets you can use on social & internal channels. 
  • Free Team Member Changes: Something come up and a registered team member can no longer make it? No worries! Easy change the details of a registered team member to a new team member up to 22/09/2024.
  • Access to My Events Team Management

Price per teams package: $350 (Inclusive of GST, does not include individual entry fees)

Your team’s name will be on all your team members race bibs so everyone will know who you’re reppin’!

Note: You do not have the ability to make a bulk payment with a Bronze package.

Hospitality Packages

If you're running the Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon as a group or team (corporate, school, family or friends), booking a marquee at our Victoria Park finish line is a great way to recover, relax and celebrate your efforts together. 

Our Hospitality Packages have been specially designed to make your role as Team Captain as easy as possible with customisable options for teams of all sizes.  

Once packages have been purchased, there will be the ability to add additional furniture items. Our packages come in sizes Small, Medium, and Large - recommended for groups with 15 or more participants.

Hospitality FAQ

  • Can we bring our BBQ to use in our tent?
    No, it is prohibited to bring a BBQ or any other cooking appliances to the venue. If you wish to fire up the BBQ, we have approved BBQS that can be hired. To add a BBQ, please log into your My Events and select additional purchase.
  • Can we put up a flag or signage so our team can find us?
    Partners of the Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon presented by ASICS pay a premium for their brand to be on display to our athletes. As such, hospitality sites may not display signage or distribute marketing material. Your marquee will be clearly labelled with your preferred team name.
  • Can we bring food onsite?
    Yes! Pack your own or hire a caterer, there is no restriction on what food is brought to the site.
  • Can we bring alcohol?
    Due to strict liquor licensing rules, no alcohol can be brought to the site. However, you will be able to pre-purchase drink tokens to use at our onsite bar and enjoy back at your tent.
  • Can we bring non-alcoholic drinks?
    Yes, non-alcoholic drinks are allowed on-site. Alternatively, you can purchase drink tokens to use at the on-site bar.
  • Will the marquee have power?
    No, all marquee sites are powerless.
  • We are a Gold Team; when can I choose my preferred position?
    Gold Team Captains will be contacted from the 4th of October with a map of the venue and provided the opportunity to select their preferred site. Non-gold package teams or groups will be allocated randomly.
